The property is located between the small two villages of Mamhilad and Penperlleni, on the banks of the canal with the renowned market town of Abergavenny just a short drive away. Also, worth exploring are the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. The nearby Wye Valley offers year round appeal and with lots of events such as food and book festivals at Crickhowell, Abergavenny, Brecon and Hay on Wye, there will always something to do. For the walkers and cyclists amongst you there are some splendid walks right from your door with local paths following along the canal, there is also a little bridge that takes you to the moored boats on the other side of the canal. Set all on one level, enter this semi detached property into the welcoming and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, newly refurbished to suit all your needs. The bright and airy kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment. Connecting the kitchen and the lounge is the dining area with seating for four, a great sociable space to enjoy a family meal or lazy breakfast together.The lounge area is the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring with comfortable seating, wood burner and Smart TV. Also, on this floor is the stylish and contemporary shower room with shower and WC, along with lovely toiletries provided. When you're ready for a good night s sleep head to one of the two bedrooms, a double or a twin, both with handmade wooden beds. Heading outside there is an enclosed patio with garden furniture, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. There is off road private parking for two cars. A gateway leads to the canal with small bridge and pathways.
