Cottage in South Wales, Abergavenny

One of four rustic barn conversions set within the grounds of an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 12th century, this property is surrounded by countryside and enjoys scenic views across to Skirrid Mountain. Enjoying a rural location within a farmyard, the private entrance of this property offers a space where you can leave coats and boots after a day of exploring. The rustic charm of this accommodation remains yet it has been sympathetically restored with comfortable furnishings. An open plan living space is perfect for a small family, offering two sofas where you can relax in the evening and watch TV, plus a dining table perfect for some games. You can serve up dinner here too, which will have been prepared in the small and well equipped kitchen. Guests have the choice of two bedrooms, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom that is suitable for children. A bathroom completes the interior, and there is a shared laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. Outside, you can dine alfresco in the shared patio area with picnic tables and a BBQ. Guests also have the bonus of fresh eggs from the free range hens and feel free to meet the farm animals as they explore the grounds. There is an indoor swimming pool to share(open from 2 weeks before Easter until after the October half term), and you can soak away your troubles in the shared hot tub. Let the kids loose in the outdoor children s play area or get competitive in the games room with its pool table and table tennis table.
