Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Just off the high street in a quiet location in the centre of Auchterarder, Lois-Mor is a modern first and second floor apartment. It is within walking distance of great places to eat, local bars, unique shops and boutiques as well as delis, foods shops and the local park. In the heart of Strathearn in Perthshire and close to the major road network, this is an ideal location for exploring the local area and beyond. Lios-Mor is a well-appointed apartment with comfortable accommodation that sleeps six guests. On the first floor is a comfortable living room which is a good place to relax in after a day exploring the area. The kitchen/dining area was refurbished in 2018 and is fitted with quality appliances and well-equipped for preparing a family meal. There is plenty of space for everyone to sit around the table after enjoying their meal and plan the next day’s adventures. On the second floor are two bedrooms, both with a double bed, single bed and TVs, as well as a family shower room.
If you want to leave the car behind you can spend an enjoyable day exploring the town with its shops, walk out into the countryside or enjoy a fine meal. An interesting time can be had finding out about the history of whisky making and there are several whisky distilleries in the area offering tours and sampling of the national drink. Close to Gleneagles Golf Course, this is a great location if you would like a game of golf, and there are over fifteen excellent courses within easy driving distance. For fans of the TV series ’Outlander’, there are many of the locations used in the filming of the series to visit including Doune Castle and Tullibardine church. You will not be short of days out with many of Scotland’s visitor attractions nearby, including Stirling Castle, the Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies and Blair Drummond Safari Park. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
