For more challenging walks, Holt is a great base for exploring Snowdonia National Park, where you can climb the tallest mountain in Wales and explore the breath-taking coastline. Alternatively, you can visit the Roman city of Chester, which plays host to a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, in addition to its famous zoo and racecourse.
