This semi-detached cottage is situated on the canal next to Chirk Aqueduct on the Welsh/English border and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.

Aqueduct Cottage is a lovely semi-detached cottage situated on the canal towpath, just a hundred yards from the Chick Aqueduct. The cottage sleeps five people and has one double bedroom, one twin and a single room, as well as two bathrooms. It also has a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside is off road parking and a lawned garden with a patio, decked area and outdoor furniture. Set in a stunning location on the canal, Aqueduct Cottage will ensure that you have a holiday to remember.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, WiFi (superfast broadband), selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Garden with lawn, patio with pond and decking with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 3 mins walk. Note: Canal to front and pond in garden, children to be supervised. Note: Decking can be very slippery when wet. Note: Access to the cottage is by driving along the canal towpath for approx 400 yards, care to be taken at all times.

Town: Chirk stands above where the rivers Ceiriog and Dee meet, and is referred to as The Gateway to Wales. Famous for its 13th century castle and gardens, Chirk boasts a wonderful aqueduct, designed by Thomas Telford.

Located in Wrexham, this cottage is in a rural area. Lion Quays Spa and North Wales Regional Tennis Centre are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Rednal Laser Games and Crazy Knights. Traveling with kids? Consider Llangollen Scenic Railway, or check out an event or a game at Park Hall Stadium.
