Hosting three bedrooms, including three doubles, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to six guests. There is also an open-living space with kitchen, dining and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off-road parking and a large enclosed lawn with stock fence, patio and furniture. Cae Iocyn is a superb dwelling for a getaway to North Wales with loved ones.

Town: As the escarpment above the confluence of the Ceiriog and Dee rivers, Chirk (Welsh spelling: Y Waun) is known as The Gateway to Wales.
More famous than anything else, Chirk is home to a magnificent Edward I-era castle and gardens, one of many constructed across Wales during that time period. It also has a stunning Thomas Telford-designed waterway and an array of delightful pubs and restaurants along with a great golf course and marina.

Located in Wrexham, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Pontcysyllte Aquaduct and Chirk Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Lion Quays Spa and North Wales Regional Tennis Centre. Rednal Laser Games and Llangollen Scenic Railway are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
