This fabulous thatched cottage, originally built circa 1668 during the reign of Charles II, is reputed to be one of the oldest dwellings in the village. It is perfectly positioned for exploring North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. The medieval town of Shrewsbury and the city of Chester, both of which date back to Roman times, and are within 20 miles. Great for cyclists, walkers and bird watchers, it is an excellent starting point for exploring the Shropshire Way, Offa s Dyke, the Cheshire Sandstone Way, Snowdonia and many wonderful gardens including Erddig, Wollerton Old Hall and Cholmondeley. This beautiful property has been recently sympathetically restored with all creature comforts including under floor heating and a wood burning stove. As you enter this stunning detached property, you immediately feel welcome. There is a well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge.
