Pentwyn Cottage, Brecon

Brecon Beacons. Sleeps up to 4

Delightful cottage close to mountains and excellent walks. Pentwyn Cottage has been beautifully renovated by the owners with handmade oak doors, furniture and even the bathroom is beautifully fitted with oak. Set on a slight hill it is only a few minutes walk down to the village of Pencelli; the village has a 17th century pub 'The Royal Oak' with a lovely beer garden beside the Brecon and Monmouth canal where it passes through the village. The owners of the cottage have a 20 acre small holding with geese, ducks and chickens and also keep ponies. There are footpaths from the farm up onto the hills; the farm is a haven for wildlife with many unusual species of birds and wild life - badgers are regular visitors with sets all along the valley; red kites and buzzards are regularly seen feeding in the adjacent paddock, why not watch from the kitchen window. Visitors are welcome to bring a pony as grazing is available.
