At the nearby Clywedog Reservoir there are a number of routes the keen walker, also a Sailing Club and one of the top UK Trout Fisheries, and the nearby Hafren Forest is home to the source of the River Severn. Those feeling adventurous can head to the Devil's Bridge Falls for a wonderful walk or for a more leisurely afternoon be sure to explore the enchanting Cwm Weeg Gardens. Venture slightly further afield to spend your days visiting the National Trust property of Powis Castle with its famous gardens, the Shropshire towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury with their excellent shopping opportunities or venture to the Snowdonia National Park to climb the highest mountain in the country. Caerau Farm House is a wonderful holiday accommodation in this part of Wales.
