This terraced, 1800’s cottage has been renovated to a very good standard, and is situated in Taff’s Well, roughly 3 miles from the city of Cardiff. Taff’s Well’s railway station is a 10-minute walk away, and you can be in the city centre in 5 minutes via train, ideal for those attending matches and concerts at the Principality Stadium or those looking for a city break. This property has a lovely courtyard at the rear of the house which is enclosed, great for sitting out in the evening and watching the sun go down with a drink. The living room boasts a lovely wood burner, ideal for those romantic nights in.
Castles to visit in the area include Castle Coch, which is within walking distance, and a short drive takes you to Caerphilly Castle or Cardiff Castle. St. Fagans National History Museum and Nantgarw China Works Museum are also close by, and Taff’s Well has a thermal spring. Walkers can enjoy exploring Forest Fawr, Caerphilly Mountain and Forest Farm Country Park. The Taff Trail runs one way to Merthyr Tydfil, and the other way to the centre of Cardiff and on to Cardiff Bay. The area is also great for cycling. Golf ranges close by include Castle Coch, Radyr, Whitchurch and Castle Heights in Caerphilly. Radyr also has a tennis club. Beach 15 miles. Shop and pub 110 yards, restaurant 3 miles.
