Internally, Heron Lodge is extremely comfortable with superb soft furnishings and is beautifully finished throughout. It features a luxury fitted kitchen to a high specification and a log burning stove in the living area. Heron Lodge has a private hot tub on the furnished balcony along with table and chairs. Just a few metres from the lake, this is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring the local area. The lodges are located on the edge of three beautiful fishing lakes so would be ideal for keen or beginner anglers (a small charge will apply). The lakes are surrounded by a variety of established trees and vegetation, creating a haven for many species of plants, birds and wildlife and providing a delightful place to relax. There are plenty of opportunities in the surrounding area whether it’s walking, cycling, rambling, golf, horse riding or sight-seeing. The beautiful city of Exeter is located just a few miles away and provides excellent social and cultural facilities including the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. For visitors in search of some retail therapy then Exeter is the place to be, catering for all your shopping demands. Whilst there, pay a visit to the impressive Exeter Cathedral or stroll along the picturesque quay, home to an array of antique shops and waterside cafes.
