Barn in North Devon, Hartland

Devon. Sleeps up to 4

This property enjoys a quiet rural location where visitors can join the South West Coast Path, which will bring them to secluded coves, river valleys, and picturesque waterfalls. The views, of course, are stunning, but the number of shipwrecks which walkers pass is a stark reminder of the tempestuous nature of the sea. Luckily for beach lovers, there are several lovely sandy beaches, within easy reach, including those at Westward Ho! and Bude, which are both around a thirty minute drive from the property. Bude also has a tidal pool, providing safe bathing no matter what the conditions at sea. This single storey property is perfect for those who want to enjoy a holiday away from the stresses of daily life. The lounge/diner provides a cosy and welcoming space in which to relax, with its warming open fire, TV/DVD. In the warmer months, guests can throw open the patio door and enjoy the breeze and the fresh countryside air from the comfortable sofas. The kitchen offers a second dining space, in the form of a breakfast bar and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, and fridge, whilst a separate storage area houses the freezer and tumble dryer, as well as providing a secure place in which to store bikes, etc. There are two bedrooms in the property: a master double, and a pretty twin room. The bathroom in the property offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside, there is a spacious, enclosed garden, mainly set to lawn, to the side of the property, which has garden furniture, providing guests with their own area to sit and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Guests are welcome to take a look around the farm, but should remember that this is a working farm and children will need to be supervised. There is ample parking available.
