Barn in North Devon, Hartland

Devon. Sleeps up to 4

This converted barn is one of two holiday properties located on a 260 acre cattle and sheep farm. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and see the many animals on site. The village of Hartland, originally a Georgian market town, is a short distance away and offers traditional family pubs and shops, plus historical places of interest. The farm itself is situated not far from the Devon/Cornwall border, making it an ideal base for exploring both counties. On the Cornwall side, the town of Bude and its popular beach is only a 30 minute drive away, other Cornish attractions include Tintagel, Padstow and the Eden Project. On the other side of the border, the towns and villages of Clovelly, Westward Ho! and Bideford are ready to be explored along with attractions including The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. The accommodation is laid out on one floor and retains features such as the slate floor and exposed beams. The lounge/diner is spacious yet cosy, and has an electric fire, TV with Freeview, DVD and Hi Fi. There are also children's toys, games and board games to suit all ages. The dining area features a table and seating for six people. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. There is one king size bedroom with TV and a twin bedroom with zip and link beds that can be made up as a super king size on request, with TV and DVD player. A cot bed is available for a child up to the age of five. The bathroom has a shower, bath and WC. Outside the barn, there is a patio area at the front of the building with seating and a BBQ. There is a separate lawn area with seating and a slide perfect for children. Children should be supervised on the slide. Ample parking is provided.
