Holbrooks House, Robin Hood's Bay

Built at the end of the 19th century and known as 'Sea Captain's Houses', these large houses in the top part of Robin Hood's Bay still breathe the air of those times. 'The Holbrooks' is one of these but has been converted into two apartments. Holbrooks House is set over the first and second floor and has some great views of the sea. Combined with the ground floor 'Garden Flat' which has a garden, the property can sleep up to 10 people.

Accommodation:  entrance, hallway with original Edwardian tiled floor. Stairs lead to the first floor. On the half landing are a separate toilet with hand washbasin, a shower room with power shower, toilet and washbasin with great sea views. Also a bathroom with a view, a bath, electric shower over the bath, washbasin and heated towel rail. A few steps lead up to the next landing. Lounge with great sea views and gas coal fire in ornate surround. Spacious dining room with feature fireplace. Kitchen. On the second floor are three bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and great sea views, one bedroom with twin beds and a smaller bedroom with full-size bunk beds. Ample storage in all the rooms.   

Services:  fridge/freezer, gas hob with electric grill and oven, microwave, washing machine. TV with DVD. Gas central heating. Bed linen is provided. A travel cot and high chair is provided as well as a buggy and safety gates. Non-smokers only. Sorry, no pets. Limited on street parking on a first come first served basis or council car park nearby. Because of the bunk room, the property is more suitable for 4 adults and 2 children.
