Boreray is situated on a croft with lovely views and sheep in the fields around you. It is just 10 minutes to "the wee beach", and there are great walks in the area, including along the famous 3-mile long white West Beach sands and Calchan Sands, only 3 miles away on Berneray. You can also walk to a bistro in Berneray. Enjoy the scenery, the fresh air and a good night’s sleep in the pod, which has underfloor heating, a small kitchen area where you can cook the local shellfish, a shower room with toilet, double bed and also a double sofa bed.
Other sites to visit include a medieval temple and chapel, and also the Iron Age Broch. The landscape is very rugged and you can easily see what it was like 100 years ago for farmers and their families. There is horseriding on Benbecula, which is 25 miles away. No matter what you do on your holiday here at Boreray, you will go home refreshed and relaxed from the walking and the sea air!
