The location of the property enjoys superb coastal views to the Atlantic and off shore Islands with St Kilda clearly visible on a good day..
The property is ideal for outdoor pursuits and is close to the world famous Balranald Bird Reserve along with numerous beaches in the area..
An ideal base to fully explore the Island of North Uist and the other Hebridean Islands and way of life.
Great location to take advantage of the natural wild life on the surrounding coast lines along with gentle walks around the nearby bird reserve. Opportunities for photography of the natural wildlife and at certain times of the year chances to capture the 'Northern Lights' in their splendour.
The Islands offer many lochs and foreshores suitable for the keen angler with permits available for trout and sea trout at the local Estate Office or Hotel in Lochmaddy.
The cottage dates back to 1927 and has remained in the same family's ownership throughout that time offering a rustic charm alongside working crofts with local lobster boats berthed in the bay in the summer months.

Located in Isle of North Uist, this vacation home is in a rural area and near the beach. Lochmaddy Ferry Terminal and North Uist Distillery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Balranald RSPB Reserve and Balranald RSPB Reserve.
