Region: Equally as charming as East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire benefits from its close proximity to the surrounding regions of the Peak District to the south and the Yorkshire Dales to the north. From stately homes, to historic museums, West Yorkshire provides a wealth of culture, including the family home of the famous Brontë sisters, Parsonage Museum. Surrounded by open moorlands, cobbled streets and acres worth of countryside, West Yorkshire is an exceptional base for that rural break.

Town: The sizable market town of Keighley is located in West Yorkshire's Aire valley, conveniently close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The wool and cotton industries helped the Domesday Book-mentioned town expand during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Keighley and Worth Valley Light Railway, made famous by the 1970s movie The Railway Children, passes through the town for five miles to the village of Oxenhope. The town also has a shopping centre, bars, takeaways, and restaurants. On the town's outskirts are two retail parks. East Riddlesden Hall, a magnificent 17th-century National Trust property, is only one mile outside of town, while Haworth, the place made renowned as the Bronte sisters' home, is only four miles distant.

Located in Keighley, this apartment is in a rural area. Keighley Bus Museum and Bronte Parsonage Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include SMJ Falconry and National Science and Media Museum. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Utilita Energy Stadium or Bradford Ice Arena. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling, rock climbing, and hiking/biking trails nearby.
