Flisk, Powgavie Cottages, Inchture

Flisk is a traditional single storey cottage, extended and refurbished to a high standard. This comfortable, homely self catering cottage is adjoining to a second holiday cottage but not internally connected (they have separate entrances). They can be rented alone or together.

Flisk sleeps six with two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The master double boasts a king size bed, patio doors leading to the garden and an ensuite shower room. There is a separate family bathroom (bath with shower over). The living area and kitchen is open plan with patio doors out to the garden. There are dining table and chairs, comfortable seating for six, large windows providing fantastic views towards the river Tay and patio doors leading to the garden area. There is a utility room with washing and drying facilities.

The cottage has a garden with both grass and a patio area, parking, garden shed where bicycles can be stored, and an outdoor drying area. A BBQ and garden furniture is provided. The cottage is situated on a quiet road with very little passing traffic.

Dogs are welcome but please note there will be an additional £20 charged.

The cottage has super views of the Sidlaw hills and the River Tay. In a rural setting, two miles from the village of Inchture and between Perth and Dundee, Eppie it makes a great base for exploring Perthshire, Angus and Fife and beyond.

The following attractions are all within one hour or less:

(i) Perth (‘The Fair City’), St Andrews (the home of golf) and Dundee (the 'City of Discovery') with the V&A museum
(ii) The championship golf courses at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles
(iii) Tourist attractions such as Glamis Castle (birthplace of the Queen Mother), Scone Palace (home of the Stone of Destiny), Stirling Castle and Bannockburn
(iv) For walkers, Kinnoull Hill, the Grampian Mountains, the Angus Glens, the Cateran Trail and the Fife Coastal Path
(v) For families there is also the Perth Leisure Pool, Active Kids (Stanley) and Camperdown Park, Willowgate Activity Centre………amongst others
(vi) Inchture hotel is 2 miles away for bar meals. There is a super selection of local food outlets: Grewar's Farm Shop (outside Dundee), The Cheesery (Dundee), Provender Brown Delicatessen in Perth, Gloagburn Farm Shop (outside Perth), Arbuckles Farm shop for local berries in the summer and much more.

Edinburgh and Glasgow are each about an hour away.

We have fast and unlimited wifi.

Located in Perth, this cottage is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Verdant Works and Dundee Repertory Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Scone Palace and Perth Theatre. Consider Backhouse Rossie Estate for a night out or Dundee Karting if you're traveling with kids. Enjoy the area's slopes with skiing, and don't miss out on the ice skating.
