2 Strand Cottages is situated in the town of Laugharne on south coast of Carmarthenshire. Hosting two bedrooms, including a double and twin, along with a bathroom, this cottage can sleep four people. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with electric fire. To the outside is an enclosed lawned garden with seating. 2 Strand Cottages is a delightful base for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
Amenities: Electric central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot available upon request. Off-road parking for 1 car but roadside parking is available on a first come, first serve basis. Enclosed lawned garden with seating. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 0.2 miles. Beach 3 miles. Note: Staircase is steep, care to be taken. Town: Laugharne is an attractive town situated on the south coast of Carmarthenshire, overlooking the wide Taf River Estuary. The town is also home to a striking castle where poet Dylan Thomas and his wife is buried, along with a selection of tea rooms, a traditional pub, gift shop and a mini market. Nearby is Pendine which boasts a seven mile stretch of beautiful flat sand, and a little further afield are the resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Located in Carmarthen, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. Dylan's Boathouse and Museum of Speed are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Battlefield Live Pembrokeshire and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as hiking and cycling in the area.
