Cottage in Dorset, Weymouth

Dorset. Sleeps up to 5

Set between the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, there s a wealth of lovely outdoor places to explore during your stay here. Enjoy water sports over at Chesil Beach, explore pretty Weymouth Beach or Bowleaze Cove (all within 7 miles), or follow the South West Coast Path for coastal views. Weymouth town is 4 miles south and boasts plenty of wonderful attractions; meet colourful creatures from the deep at Sealife Aquarium or bird spot at RSPB Lodmoor. Dorchester is 4 miles north and boasts historic sites, family attractions and lush gardens. Step through the gate to the front door, into the porch which opens directly into the inviting lounge which has comfortable sofas, an open fire and Smart TV. A door leads into a centrally set and characterful dining room, ideal for leisurely meals, while the country style kitchen is at the back of the cottage. The space is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, and washing machine. Opposite the kitchen is a useful separate WC. Heading back through into the lounge and up the steep, narrow, cottage style stairs you will find two bedrooms: a single on the left and a king size bedroom with a decorative fireplace just next door. Across the landing and up one step, there is a pretty double bedroom. The bedrooms share the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. A door and three external steps lead into the garden, which is arranged over several levels. There is an area of lawn, a seating area with furniture and established borders. Please note, there are changes of level throughout, often unenclosed, therefore care should be taken with children, dogs and those with mobility issues. Ample roadside parking can be found opposite the cottage, subject to availability.
