Take advantage of good weather to cruise the canal that links Brecon with Newport. The area is steeped in history with some of Europe s finest surviving castles, Brecon Castle overlooking the River Usk, Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills and Crickhowell Castle. Also within easy reach are many attractions to include The Big Pit National Coal Museum, Blaenavon Iron Works and the National Showcaves Centre. Step off the bustling streets and into the apartment, climb the stairs to the front door which opens into an inviting kitchen/diner, the kitchen finished in solid wood is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer.
