Summary:
Lovely 2 bedroom apartment with stunning views of the Afan Valley. The View is very well equipped over 2 floors, including a large bathroom, fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine, living area with flat screen, smart TV and WIFI. A King Size bed in bedroom 1 and two single beds in bedroom 2. There is a lovely shared rear garden, this is via external steps down to the garden. Well behaved dogs are allowed with prior notice.

The Space:
The View is a great self-contained apartment in a truly stunning setting. It has everything you will need for a relaxing break with support always on hand when required. Heating, clean bed linen and towels and WiFi included. High chair is available in the apartment and a welcome pack of tea and coffee pods is provided to get you up and running. There is a convenience store next door to the property which sells milk, bread and most importantly, stocks Tassimo pods for the coffee machine that we have in the apartment! There is on street parking on an unrestricted road.

Guest Access:
The View is over 2 levels, the kitchen is at street level while the other rooms are on the first floor via a staircase. Please note that the additional garden facilities are accessed via an external staircase and not suitable for people who are less mobile.

The View, The Peak, The Nook, The Trail and Riverside are part of a family of beautiful holiday apartments in the stunning Afan Valley in South Wales and operated by a family business - Afan Valley Escapes.

The Afan Valley is renowned to attract keen mountain bikers and its is also attractive if you like fishing or long hikes/walks. The Afan Valley 12 mile walking and cycling path runs directly behind these beautiful apartments, it is so easily accessible. There is a general store in the same block as The View, The Nook, The Peak and The Trail. There are also some lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants in the area.

The lovely beach of Aberavon is in easy reach. The wonderful grounds and castle of Margam Country Park is also very near.

Let you adrenaline flow on Afan Forest Parks six mountain bike trails. Mile after mile of former railway lines await you, a great way to explore the outstanding beauty that awaits you.

If you prefer to walk, there are short strolls or long ramble routes, Afan Forest Park has something for everyone. The other nearby trail in Glyncorrwg has food, bike shop, fishing and a great atmosphere! There are several visitor centres within easy reach.

Named in the top ten places in the world to 'ride before you die', the park is home to four world class mountain bike trails and two family friendly routes, offering something for both amateur and more experienced bikers alike.

Of course, traversing around on two wheels is not the only way to discover the area and there are a variety of other outdoor pursuits to enjoy, including nature rambles and hikes, horse riding, kayaking, caving, climbing, gorge walking, fishing and visiting the spectacular waterfalls that are all in easy-reach.

Getting Around:
There is a bus stop right outside the property, this will take you into the main town of Port Talbot.
