Beautifully situated on the glorious Assynt Peninsula, this charming, south facing detached cottage enjoys magnificent views over the green valley to the moors and is at the mid point of the scenic single track road which winds round the coast from Lochinver to Kylesku. The surrounding area offers excellent outdoor activities including walking, climbing, fishing, diving and boat trips. At the Geopark Assynt there are nature reserves, bird colonies and a wealth of flora and fauna. There are a couple of glorious beaches nearby, including Clashnessie and Clachtoll. There are also opportunities nearby to see the local wildlife, including grazing deer and basking seals. On entering this lovely and ideally positioned holiday cottage, you will find yourself in the tastefully furnished and welcoming lounge. With traditional wood burner, comfortable seating, TV/DVD, this is a perfect room to relax in. Exploring this delightful property further you will find a charming dining room, and the attractively designed kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. You will also find a very handy drying room. Heading up to the first floor, you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There s a double room and a zip and link twin, which can be made up as a twin or a double as required. There is also a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC. There is an additional separate WC on the ground floor. Stepping outside, you can relax and admire the spectacular views from the open grounds which surround the cottage. Ample parking and storage for outdoor equipment.
