Located in this popular North West fishing village with shops, pubs and petrol station nearby and with plenty excellent opportunities for hill walking and climbing, bird watching and fishing, plus boat trips to see seal colonies, Cape Wrath Lighthouse and Handa Island Bird Sanctuary. Adventure out and climb the classic hills like Suilven and Stac pollaidh. There are several beautiful white sandy beaches all within easy reach. Visit Smoo Cave, the spectacular sea cave and Sandwood Bay, and for golfers there is a challenging golf course in Durness. Ullapool, which is further afield, has a greater range of facilities, other shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the main Ferry terminal to Stornoway and the Outer Hebrides. Stepping into the property s entrance porch you with find the family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Continuing through you will find the lounge with TV/DVD and a cosy multi fuel burner to relax in front of after a long day out exploring. There is a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, the perfect space to prepare a family meal. Enjoy your meals at the dining table and chairs provided. When you are ready to retire, take the cottage style stairs to the first floor where you will find the two bedrooms, a king size and a twin, both enjoying the spectacular views. Heading back outside to the large grassy area with garden furniture, you can enjoy al fresco dining while you take in the amazing loch and mountain views or just sit in the garden and watch the abundance of bird and animal life. There is ample off road private parking outside the property.
