Stuchd an Lochain, Loch Tay Holiday Homes, Kenmore

Perthshire. Sleeps up to 8

Stuchd an Lochain is a modern 3-bed house at Loch Tay Holiday Homes. Sitting on the south shore of Loch Tay, the marina provides a range of amenities to guests, including a Watersports and Activity Centre with a variety of loch-based leisure activities on offer. You can rent a kayak or a pedalo, speed across the water on a motorboat, have fun on a water trampoline, and much more. After an afternoon on the loch or exploring its surroundings, you can relax with free access to the Hot Box, a large wood-burning sauna which commands impressive views of the area.

The area around Loch Tay Holiday Homes is great for exploring, and you'll find the village of Kenmore, as well as Taymouth Castle and Kenmore Beach, just down the road from Stuchd an Lochain. You can also take a journey to the past at the Scottish Crannog Centre that neighbours the marina, where you can find out all about the Iron Age structures known as 'crannogs' that ancient humans built on the loch. Or you can just explore the area with a range of walking routes suited for all abilities, as a perfect opportunity to take in the magnificent Highland views. As an added bonus, this is a dog-friendly property, so you can bring along the family hound to enjoy the walks with you.

The name of this house, Stuchd an Lochain, means 'Hill on the little Loch', and, as you might expect, it offers a sweeping view of Loch Tay and the rolling Scottish hills beyond. You can relax and drink in the glory of the landscape from your own hot tub on the property's terraced patio, or while unwinding on your private balcony. The spacious open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area has everything you need for putting your feet up indoors, with a flatscreen TV, comfortable furniture and a fully equipped kitchen.

Stuchd an Lochain can sleep varying numbers of guests, with a king bedroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom as standard. There's also a double sofa bed in the lounge, and a pull-out bed suitable for children, meaning the house can host as many as 8 people (7 adults and 1 child). There are 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite, and a utility room with a sink and washer dryer.

Important Information Please note: the hot tub may not be available on your first evening, due to cleaning and a full water change prior to each arrival. This property does not currently have wi-fi available.
