Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring. There is a fenced river in the grounds, 100 yards away. . The Hen House is a lovely barn conversion, accessed via a rough track and set in the heart of the Crychan Forest, nestled between the Brecon Beacons and Cambrian mountains. This semi-detached holiday home is a wonderful retreat for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax in naturalistic surroundings. Great for groups of walkers or larger families wanting to holiday together.

There is much to see and do in the local area and you are in the ideal location for outdoor pursuits such as cycling, walking, hiking, birdwatching and fishing. The Hen House is situated on the owner’s small holding, which is home to chickens, sheep, pigs and geese which can be seen roaming the fields in front of the property.

The property comprises of an open plan living space with underfloor heating and a lovely wood burner, sure to keep everyone nice and toasty on cold nights. On this level there is also a large TV with DVD player, ideal for movie nights, and a shower room with underfloor heating. On the first floor is a galleried bedroom with six single beds, which can be turned into double beds if preferred or packed away if there are less guests.

Outside there are shared grounds and a shared garden with seating area, summerhouse, barbecue, Rayburn and a griddle (the summerhouse available in summer only). Stabling is also available by prior arrangement should you wish to bring your horses. Shop and restaurant 4¼ miles and pub 4¾ miles.
The Hen House can be booked together with The Hen House (ref UK13352) and The Pig Sty (ref UK13350) to accommodate up to 10 guests.
