Acorn Lodge, St Clears

Carmarthenshire. Sleeps up to 6

St Clears 3 miles. This traditional detached single-storey log cabin is situated on the Woodland Lodge Holiday Park, two miles from the village of Meidrim and three miles from the small town of St Clears. Quaint and rustic, this lovely holiday property is an ideal base for exploring this wonderful area of South Wales, with Saundersfoot and Tenby within reach. Once you park up, you enter the property via two steps onto the veranda and then step straight into the open plan living area. Here you will find two sofas, an arm chair and a rocking chair, a perfect place for relaxing with your family or friends whilst feeling the warmth of the electric woodburner-effect stove. Next to the sitting area is a dining area and beyond this is the kitchen area. Next to the living area is a sauna room with handy shower cubicle, and the property also has a bathroom with a whirlpool bath, perfect to rest and unwind after a day’s touring. Completing the accommodation are the three bedrooms, consisting of one double, one twin with woodland views and one with bunk beds. The village of Meidrim is close by and has a pub, and there's a number of shops and pubs in St Clears. Also in St Clears is the mound of the 12th century St Clears castle and many festivals can be enjoyed in the town. Within driving distance there’s something for everyone, including the town of Carmarthen, just ten miles away, Laugharne Castle, Folly Farm, coastal walks and cycle routes and coastal resorts. With two National Parks - the Pembrokeshire Coast and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) also close by, makes this a great base for whatever you wish to see and do.
