This charming historic home was originally built in the 17th century as a barn. It has been built on over the centuries resulting in a traditional stone welsh cottage nestled in the hills above 'Talley' with lovely views to the village below and the hills behind.

Newly refurbished throughout including carpets, a new kitchen, bathroom, utility, downstairs toilet and conservatory.

Tastefully decorated throughout with touches to make it feel home away from home.

This charming stone cottage boasts original rafters and exudes old world charm. It is split into two levels with the bedrooms and bathrooms being upstairs and the living areas downstairs.

Upstairs consists of:-

-A large master bedroom with a reading nook and chairs offers a queen size bed and room for a portable cot (available on request). The en suite attached to the adjoining bedroom has a walk in shower, rolltop claw bath, basin and toilet. Wake up in the morning and step out onto the small balcony and take in the vista of the village below , the hills in the distance and the surrounding woods.
- Two other bedrooms both furnished with double beds.
- The nearby bathroom has a bath , toilet and sink.

Downstairs consists of:-
- The entrance hall which leads to the living room , the small TV room and the kitchen,utility room then conservatory.
-The living room boasts plenty of comfortable seating and a cosy wood burner ( wood is provided for the first night and subsequent nights are bought in an honesty system). Smart TV, DVD player and dvds.
-The small sitting room has a day bed (which can be made up on request) a smaller TV , sound system, DVD player, games, books and cds.
-The newly renovated kitchen provides a home away from home, with some essential supplies and equipped with all the cooking appliances you require for your meals.
-The utility room has a washing machine , dryer and also an extra toilet.
-Step into The conservatory from the kitchen and snuggle up with a book, magazine or just sit and enjoy the lovely views. Enjoy the warmth from the sun through the double glazing and central heating or throw open the French doors out into the garden and let the summer breeze blow through.


There is a patio with alfresco dining set overlooking the village and hills with an umbrella and bbq or a chiminea for those cooler days.

Plasnewydd is the perfect summer or winter escape giving you the feeling you are in the hills allowing you total privacy and quiet. The surrounding areas offer you fishing in the Talley lakes, walks through the Talley woods or just stay in and enjoy the comfort and marvel at the sound and vision of the rain and snow falling on the glass around you.

PLEASE NOTE
-The driveway is narrow and is on an incline with a bend at the end so beware when driving at night . There are signs to guide you on your way.
-There is a stream running through the property that is not fenced and can be dangerous to small children
-There are also stairs down to the garden and a steep drop from the patio which can be also dangerous to small children.

Located in Llandeilo, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. West Wales Museum of Childhood and Teifi Valley Railway Limited are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Aberglasney Gardens and National Botanic Garden of Wales. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking, horse riding, and cave exploring nearby.
