Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Patio with garden furniture. Stabling and grazing for one horse available (at cost). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring and there are steps in the garden.. Situated in the heart of Dartmoor National Park on the owner’s beef farm, this semi-detached cottage has been decorated and furnished to a good standard in 2019 and still retains some of its original features. There is a private walkway up to Bagtor which has the most stunning view across rolling Devon Hills over Dartmoor, and you can see for miles. Stabling is available for one horse at an extra cost, and straw and hay are available. This is a perfect opportunity to be able to ride on Dartmoor on private land, on a no-vehicle track, where you might encounter some of the Dartmoor ponies that wander freely all over the moor. Off road cycling is perfect here, and the walks, which start right from the front door are just amazing.
The farm has a lot of character, and you can often see the cows out in the fields; on some occasions there will be calves frolicking about too! This is a quiet part of Devon, and you will be able to discover Dartmoor and all it has to offer. There are many visitor attractions not far from the property. Exeter, with its Crealy Theme Park & Resort, is ideal for a family day out and is only 30 minutes away by car. Visit Plymouth and take a trip to the Aquarium, only 40 minutes away by car. There are also many National Trust properties close by. Beach 15 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
