On the outskirts of Barnstaple, the village of Bishops Tawton is an ideal location for exploring all the region has to offer. The property is close to the 'old road' to Exeter that leads inland into the beautiful rolling countryside of the Taw Valley. The North Devon Link Road less than a mile away, gives easy access to the large surfing beaches on either side of the Taw Estuary, the delightful watersports centre and estuary beach at Instow, and spectacular National Trust coastline that extends westward to Clovelly and into Bude in Cornwall.  All the town centre amenities of the historic market town of Barnstaple including extensive choice of shops, cinema, theatre, pannier market, and leisure centre are just 5 minutes drive and with many visitor attractions such as RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the wilds of Exmoor all less than 30 minutes drive. The property is close to the centre of the village, the historic Parish Church and with a choice of character pubs serving excellent meals, and butchers all within walking distance.
