On the outskirts of Barnstaple, the village of Bishops Tawton is an ideal location for exploring all the region has to offer. The property is close to the 'old road' to Exeter that leads inland into the beautiful rolling countryside of the Taw Valley. The North Devon Link Road less than a mile away, gives easy access to the large surfing beaches on either side of the Taw Estuary, the delightful watersports centre and estuary beach at Instow, and spectacular National Trust coastline that extends westward to Clovelly and into Bude in Cornwall. All the town centre amenities of the historic market town of Barnstaple including extensive choice of shops, cinema, theatre, pannier market, and leisure centre are just 5 minutes drive and with many visitor attractions such as RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the wilds of Exmoor all less than 30 minutes drive. The property is close to the centre of the village, the historic Parish Church and with a choice of character pubs serving excellent meals, and butchers all within walking distance.
Accommodation is all on one level and is comfortably furnished throughout with central heating providing year round warmth. Two bedrooms. Double and twin bedded. Shower room/wc. with heated towel rail. Good sized very comfortable living/dining room with TV, DVD & CD and with door to garden (3 steps and handrail). Fully fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven + extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Shared use of owners large, tidal stream bordered garden with garden furniture available. Free road parking available opposite.
