Situated in the oldest part of the village, only two minutes walk from the centre with its stores, antique shops and choice of three character pubs serving good value meals. The village is surrounded by delightful rolling countryside and is within walking distance of the Devon Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve at Halsdon, with woodland and riverside trails. Excellent touring base, being equidistant between Exmoor and Dartmoor, and with places of interest, such as the gardens of RHS Rosemoor nearby. An abundance of excellent fishing spots are also close at hand, and the spectacular coastline and sandy beaches are within a very scenic half hour's drive.
