Nestling on a hillside which spectacularly overlooks the Taw Valley, the cottages are approached down a private unmade lane.  This wonderful rural idyll provides peace and tranquillity, yet is just a mile from the village centre and within ten minutes drive from other attractive local villages with award winning cosy pubs. The cottages offer an ideal location to return to after a day exploring the scenic diversity of North Devon with its fantastic beaches and coastline, bustling market towns  and the splendour of Exmoor and Dartmoor all within a scenic 40 minutes drive. Many famous attractions including the gardens at RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, the Tarka Trail and the historic city of Exeter are all also easily accessible.

Both cottages retain many original features including beams and are comfortably furnished and well equipped throughout. Each cottage has its own private, fully enclosed garden area with garden furniture which is ideal for al fresco meals and relaxation. In addition visitors have the freedom of surrounding paddocks and woodlands with far reaching country views towards Exmoor. Private parking is available for both cottages.

Two attractive bedrooms each with beams and country views - double and twin bedded. Ground floor bathroom/wc with handshower attachment and heated towel rail. Comfortable beamed living room with woodburner effect electric fire, TV, DVD and French windows to private enclosed patio garden. Fully fitted kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave and washing machine.
