Large seaside family home (new games room) coastal path Elie and St.Monans Fife, St Monans

Fife. Sleeps up to 6

A thoughtfully designed, spacious 3 bedroom house with a new games room. Situated along the Fife Coastal path between St.Monans and Elie it has wonderful views of Newark Castle and the coast. Private, peaceful, extremely well equipped and environmentally friendly!

The space

Newark Castleview is a spacious, contemporary and energy efficient home with stunning sea views situated beside the ruins of the 16th century Newark Castle. We receive much feedback from our guests, many of them returning anually, who find themselves more than content with staying close to their 'home from home'; enjoying the walks along the beaches or sitting upstairs gazing at the incredible views. It is peaceful and secluded yet easily accessible.

The house was a labour of love; designed and built by us, using sustainable energy systems, locally sourced materials and labour when possible and furnished to a high and comfortable standard. We aimed to make the most of the idyllic location, to utilise the space and to make it enjoyable for all of our guests, young and old. The ground floor in particular is ideal for those with mobility difficulties; the front door to the house has wide, easy access and two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor, as well as the open plan kitchen and living room.

Guest access

Perfectly positioned with direct access to the very well maintained Fife coastal path which leads to St. Monans (5 mins walk) and Elie (30mins walk) allowing guests to enjoy some of the most beautiful coastline in Fife. It is a 5 minute walk down to the nearest beach. This is an ideal base from which to explore the delightful East Neuk of Fife; Elie, St.Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Crail. There are also numerous championship standard golf courses in the area (Kingsbarns, Lundin Links, St. Andrews) making it a golfer's paradise.

With private, off street parking.
