The Space:
Shore House is a beautiful, three bedroomed townhouse within the small and charming fishing village of Pittenweem. Commanding stunning sea views over the Firth of Forth and situated only a minutes' walk from the only working harbour in the East Neuk.  Mid-terrace house comprises three floors, with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy living room replete with large flat screen tv,  three bedrooms, and a spacious rear garden in which to relax. 

Shore House is situated on the harbour front.  The accommodations  layout is as follows:  Ground Floor: Kitchen, Bathroom with shower over bath, and bedroom with twin single beds.  First Floor - Living room, 1 bedroom with double bed, and WC.  Second Floor - 1 Bedroom with double bed. 

Neighbourhood:
Pittenweem is now the most active of the fishing ports in the East Neuk coast of Fife. Fishing boats jostle for position in its busy harbour and this is a lively vibrant place at any time of day. To add to the atmosphere, visitors can watch the fish market conducted in the sheds on the harbour each morning. The harbour is a magnet for visitors. Photographers can take their pick between the brightly-hulled fishing boats or the jumble of red pantiled or grey slated houses. Pittenweem simply oozes charm. Along the harbourside are the local inns, which have served fishermen for generations and no doubt continue to do so. Pittenweem's High Street lies above and behind the harbour. Here you can find the baker's shop and other local traders serving the community and tourists alike, plus an interesting selection of artists' galleries. There is a thriving annual art festival that draws crowds from far and wide.

Getting Around:
A car is recommended, however you are within walking distance of Anstruther, St Monans and other fishing villages. There are regular buses to each of these towns, as well as a bus service from St Andrews to Edinburgh that runs through the village every hour. Taxis are available.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the house are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements.
Pre Arrival:
When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure from 4pm. If early check in has been purchased check in will be from 3pm. Please note that access is not permitted to the property before this time, and we cannot store any luggage prior to check in.
Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the code prior to arrival.
During Your Stay:
We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay.

Scottish Fisheries Museum and Crail Museum and Heritage Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Swilken Bridge and Hill of Tarvit. La Petite Epicerie and Cambo Estate Gardens are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
