This welcoming holiday home is located at the edge of the attractive Tyne Valley village of Stocksfield. Lovers of ancient history will be interested in Hadrian s Wall, some of the best preserved remnants of Roman rule in the country, which is a short drive away. Facilities for all the major outdoor sporting and leisure pursuits can be found within easy driving distance of the property. These include river fishing, horse riding, golfing and mountain bike hire. For culture, entertainment, shopping and night life, take a trip over to the ever up and coming city Newcastle upon Tyne. For provisions, good local pubs and restaurants, take a trip Hexham or Corbridge, which are close to Stocksfield. Offering home comforts for five guests, its interior still retains traces of when the building served as a granary. On arrival into the courtyard you will head through the archway and heading up stairs to the entrance of Granary. Off the hallway you will soon encounter the spacious open plan lounge and kitchen/ dining area with TV/DVD for relaxing with at the end of a long day of exploration. There is also a dining table in the room, with seating for four guests. The kitchen includes all the facilities you would need for a self catering break including an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, and a microwave. The washing machine and tumble dryer is in a handy utility room nearby. All on one upper level you will find three bedrooms one double, one single, and one twin. The bathroom containing both a bath, a shower cubicle and WC. A large enclosed garden awaits at the rear of the house, a great space for play and relaxation. There is a children s play area with swings for your kids to make the most of on your holiday.
