The attractive seaside village of Fethard-on-Sea, with its pubs, restaurants, shops and children’s playground, is a mere ½ mile away, and there are numerous sandy beaches and coves to explore. The area is popular for water sports, fishing, horse riding and golf. Historic attractions in the area include 12th century Hook Lighthouse, Duncannon Fort and Tintern Abbey. Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland, is within easy reach via a little car ferry service that runs daily from the nearby picturesque fishing village of Ballyhack. Shops, pubs and restaurants ½ mile. . Approximate distance to Cork Airport is 175 km.
