The sitting room also has double doors that open out onto the patio, and to the front and rear of this family friendly holiday home is a lawned garden where the little ones can play safely, and you can enjoy the glorious views of the countryside. After a day of adventure, freshen up with a soak in the bath or a hot shower, before choosing from three well-appointed bedrooms to catch your rest in, two doubles, one of which enjoys its own en-suite shower room, and a twin. For your local amenities, head over to Kilmore, where you can stock up on your essentials as well as being home to the popular gastropub of Mary Barry’s Bar, a perfect spot for refuelling after a day of exploring. A leading equestrian centre is close to the property, adjacent to the village of Tomhaggard. From here, take the short drive over to Kilmore Quay, a traditional fishing village peppered with 19th-century cottages surrounding a picturesque marina. The village is well-known for its excellent sailing and angling opportunities, as well as its Stella Maris Heritage Centre which provides a wonderful insight into times gone by, its easy access to the beach and sublime views. Next stop is the heritage town of Wexford, where you will find a lovely selection of shops, eateries, and traditional pubs, or take a boat trip to the Saltee Islands, home to an impressive wildlife sanctuary?
