A long dining table rests opposite on the slate floor, with the large floor-to-ceiling windows allowing the natural light to flood the room, it's a serene spot to come together in. Head to your right and find a homely snug reached via four steps down, with a Smart TV in here to watch curled up on the sofa after a busy day outdoors. The county town of Wexford is just under 30 miles away and presents a great day out; visit the Irish National Heritage Park where life of ancient Ireland is revealed with life-size models and costumed guides within a 35-acre park, whilst the Omniplex cinema just outside the centre of town is perfect for a rainy day. Spend a day at the beach with Curracloe Beach being home to fine, white sand backed by grassy dunes and popular with walking and swimming, along with some seaside cafés to stop in for lunch. Admire the riverside castle in Kilkenny and explore the beautiful gardens, or travel down to Waterford just a scenic drive away.
