Please note: Holidaymakers only.. The Coach House is located in Gulworthy, close to the Devon/Cornwall border. Located just above the unspoilt Tamar Valley, The Coach House offers comfortable, well-appointed accommodation and as a detached, single storey property it is ideal for all. This is a great location for both couples and a small family, it is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area or as somewhere to unwind over a relaxing weekend. The 5½ acre grounds have been awarded the David Bellamy Silver Conservation Award and Honey Bee friendly award. Gulworthy is situated between the historic market town of Tavistock in Devon and the busy village of Gunnislake in Cornwall.
Tavistock has a good range of amenities including a busy pannier market and has a great indoor pool for those rainy days. Gunnislake has a more village feel but benefits from a single track branch line train station, with scenic route to Plymouth via Calstock viaduct, if you fancy exploring the area by rail. The cottage is also located close to Morewellham Quay, approximately 1½ miles away, the famous historic mining port on the River Tamar, where the BBC documentary ’Edwardian Farm’ was filmed, while the Tamar Trails are a must for any keen outdoor enthusiasts, with mountain bike trails a key feature of this attraction. Dartmoor and its spectacular landscape and the city of Plymouth are both within easy reach of The Coach House. Beach 22 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
