Enclosed courtyard with garden furniture (shared with owner). 1½-acre grounds with summerhouse, BBQ and woodland (shared with owner). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond within the grounds.. Tucked away in a courtyard setting, this first floor apartment is just 1½ miles from the market town of Masham, home to the Black Sheep Brewery and forming the gateway to Wensleydale.
The Mews adjoins the owner’s Victorian house and was originally the granary and bothy over the stables. There is access to 1½ acres of walled gardens and orchard with lawns for croquet and table tennis, a summer house and a small woodland walk with wildlife pond.
Set in open countryside you are well placed for walking, touring and cycling. Masham offers a selection of country shops, pubs and tea rooms with both pub grub and fine dining available. Take time to book afternoon tea at nearby Swinton Park and experience the glory of yesteryears in this historic building.
The historic city of York is 37 miles way, and has a wealth of history, shops, pubs and restaurants. Ripon is just 9½ miles, here you will find a busy market together with a racecourse and the ancient Cathedral. For the youngsters or the young at heart, there is Lightwater Valley theme park which is just 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
