This is an old ship builder's cottage which has been tastefully refurbished. It is situated in an elevated position - a few steps lead up to it- overlooking the River Esk and the marina. It is just a short stroll from Whitby town centre. Local pub around the corner and fish & chips within walking distance.

Accommodation:
The delightful lounge on the ground floor, with lazy leather sofas, gas fired 'wood burning' stove and digital Freesat TV is the place to relax. The first floor is the main living area with well-equipped kitchen (herbs, spices and sauces provided), dining area with wall mounted TV and CD player/ radio and a selection of CD's. Two comfy armchairs by the window...sit and watch the harbour as the famous swing bridge opens and the boats come and go as the sun goes down over Whitby. Separate tiled wet-room with hand washbasin, shower, WC and heated towel rail. Stairs to second floor. Double bedroom with chest of drawers, wardrobe,  digital Freesat TV and CD/ radio; second bedroom access through first bedroom with two single beds and wardrobe with drawers. Plenty of hanging space and shelving everywhere. 

Services:
Refrigerator, separate box freezer, electric oven with separate gas hob, combination microwave, washing machine. Selection of books, CD's and DVD's. Three colour TVs two with digital Freesatsg all with DVD, radio/CD player. Bed linen is provided. New boiler and gas central heating. Sitting area at the front with patio table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the sunshire - from lunchtime until the sun sets over Whitby. Please note the property will be non-smoking from 2011. One well-behaved dog is welcome but not allowed in the bedrooms. On street parking close-by.
