Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring. There is an unfenced pond and stream in the grounds. . Located just outside Tavistock on the approach hills to Dartmoor, The Woodshed (UK10114), a detached barn conversion, and The Pumphouse (UK10115) a cosy detached former pumphouse, are located separately in the grounds of the owner’s home. Both cottages have their own unique character and charm, and each has a wood burner in the living area, adding to their cosy and warm feel. Along with private sitting-out areas, guests are invited to wander the well-maintained grounds. There is a large pond in the grounds where guests can sit and enjoy the surroundings. The historical town of Tavistock is close by and has a wider range of shops and amenities as well as its famous pannier market.
During your stay, there is much to see and do. Dartmoor has a number of highlights including Prince Town, Post Bridge and Haytor to name but a few. A visit and walk around Burrator Reservoir is also a must. There are National Trust sites at Castle Drogo and Lydford Gorge, both making for enjoyable days out. Towards the coast there is the historical naval city of Plymouth with The Hoe and Barbican areas to enjoy. Around the coast, there are many coves and beaches waiting to be explored. There is horse riding, golf and fishing all available locally. Beach 21 miles. Shop and pub 1 mile.
