Churchgate Cottage is a 17th century cottage situated beside the church in the heart of Blisland. With views over the traditional village green, it is a dear little cottage with a warm welcome. Head into the cosy open plan living space with charming beams, where you can snuggle up beside the electric fire or prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen. At the end of a busy day, the two bedrooms are cosy and comfy with views of the green or church. If you don't feel like cooking, just wander across the green to the good pub for supper or the village shop offers a café and internet access. If cycling is your thing, the Camel Trail will take you on a family-friendly level route through lovely countryside and along the estuary as far as Padstow. A visit to the sea is a must, either to the picture-book fishing harbour at Port Isaac or the fabulous sand/surf beaches at Rock and Polzeath. For town amenities, Bodmin is within easy reach and you can visit an old jail there too if you dare. With good walks and lots to explore in the area, Churchgate Cottage is an excellent village base.
