There are museums, art galleries and a visit to Swells quirky cinema is an absolute must - but remember that film night is only once a week. Cliff top walks and cycling tracks abound in this area, and a visit to the ancient seaport of Whitby will not disappoint. Board the steam railway and take a memorable journey through the Esk Valley into Goathland, Heartbeat’s very own village. Robin Hood’s Bay has something for all the family at any time of year.
