Situated within the grounds of the owners’ home, the property is comfortably furnished and offers an ideal base for a couple. The beautiful Wye Valley is easily accessible, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and offers stunning scenery and wonderful walking, and the South Wales Coastal Path is a 10-minute walk away. The Forest of Dean offers outdoor activities in abundance including climbing, canoeing, fishing and cycling with dedicated tracks for all abilities. Golfing can be found locally, with St Pierre Golf Course being three minutes away, and the world-class Celtic Manor Ryder Cup Course is within easy driving distance. There are many places of historical interest to visit nearby including the castles at Caldicot, Chepstow, Usk and Raglan, the Roman fortress in the walled town of Caerleon, and Tintern Abbey. Chepstow racecourse and town, Abergavenny and Usk are all within easy reach. Cardiff, the vibrant capital city of Wales, with its extensive shopping, bars, restaurants, Millennium Centre and stadium, theatres and museum can be reached within an hour’s drive. Also worth a visit are Monmouth with its wide high street and plethora of shops, Clearwell Caves and Puzzlewood, an amazing wooded, rocky adventure.
