The market town of Abergavenny is only three miles away and has a castle with its own museum, churches, an indoor market hall, good shops, pubs and restaurants. With abbeys, castles, mining museums and a Roman amphitheatre and baths at nearby Caerleon, there is much to explore.

Located in Abergavenny, this lodge is in a rural area. Wernddu Golf Club and Llangorse Outdoor Activity Centre are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Brecon Beacons National Park and Clytha Park. Super Tubing and Bowlplex Cwmbran are also worth visiting. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling.
