Howick Hall and Gardens is very close at hand; take time to enjoy refreshments at the Earl Grey Tea House - home of the famous tea. Red Steads is one of three working farms located on the estate and visitors to Red Steads Cottage are welcome to use a private key to the locked gates to give direct access throughout the grounds. Or wander a little further and take the path that leads directly to Sugar Sands Bay or Howick Cove. The Rumbling Kern is a sheltered beach well worth a visit that leads to Craster. The National Cycle route passes the end of the drive to take cyclists along the Heritage coastline.
