From the front door there is an open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable seating area. Upstairs there are two lovely bedrooms, one with a double bed and TV and the other is a twin bedroom, both with Velux windows and sloping ceilings. From the cottage, take a short walk into the centre of Helmsley where you will find individual and unique shops, galleries, boutiques and, of course, pubs and restaurants. The town has its own walled garden and castle and the award-winning National Centre for Birds of Prey is in the Duncombe Park Estate. There are many cycling and walking opportunities within the National Park with its rolling countryside. Further afield, is the city of York, and the traditional seaside resort towns of Whitby and Scarborough. You will want to return to this lovely cottage again and again.
