A ground floor apartment, part of a row of terraced (formerly fishermen's) cottages, overlooking the boatyard and situated in the heart of the pretty village of Polruan. The apartment has been lovingly restored by the present owners and, on entering, there is a large sitting room with dining area which has a door leading out to the small patio area. This has an array of plants and garden furniture and provides a peaceful haven in which to relax. The sitting area has an woodburning effect electric fire, a TV with Freeview and a DVD player. Leading off the sitting area is the galley kitchen which is fully equipped. There is a double bedroom with views out over the harbour toward Fowey, along with a single bedroom. Completing the property is a wet room with shower which has been furbished with a pebble floor and underfloor heating. This is an ideal holiday location. The popular fishing village of Polruan has a general store, a bakery, a cafe, a gift shop and two pubs - The Russell and Lugger Inns, the latter of which is famous for its seafood. Also within walking distance is the ancient Polruan Blockhouse, with the rocks below making an ideal place for a spot of fishing. You can take the foot ferry over to Fowey and explore the delights and the Bodinnick Ferry gives you quick access to St Austell, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also in the area are several National Trust properties, including St Anthony House and Lanhydrock, along with an extensive selection of coastal and inland walks available from the doorstep. A lovely apartment for exploring the area.
