The stunning St Abb's Head National Nature Reserve is also very close by and offers the perfect day out for birdwatchers, walkers and those who love wildlife, as are interesting local attractions such as Eyemouth Maritime Centre, Paxton House and Chain Bridge Honey Farm. St. Abbs is also the filming location for the recent Avengers movie with the village now being twinned with New Asgard.
